I just got a new mouse (Genius Xscroll Optical Wheel Mouse) to replace my old one. It seemed fine when i plugged it in but whenever i turn off my computer and then go back to turn it on, the mouse doesnt work anymore. It works perfectly again when i unplug and plug again. I have to keep disconnecting and connecting the mouse everytime i turn on my computer, which will most likely break the port. There any suggestions on how to fix this?

You will have to enable USB mouse support from the bios. Go to the bios and turn it on to avoid further problems.

on the cordless mouse... do you have to have the mouse in any particular place like in alignment with the computer for it to work? Ive been wondering how those things work and would aprpeciate any info. you could give me on the ups and downs of a cordless.
