I want to buy a distance measure for my husband. He is going to be training as a commercial appraiser. These tools range in price fromm $80 - $800. Any reccomendations. I do not want to buy something that is unneccesary nor do I want to buy something that is not enough:confused:

For commercial properties, a walking wheel of good name quality should do the trick...check out the Home Depot...you shold also get him a fiberglass, 200 ft reel tape also...In your mind imagine types of commercial properties that would have to be measured......long warehouses, etc...

One type of measuring tool will not cover all...
